Google Fiber for Communities!

Google recently announced plans to build a fiber optic network in select areas around the country. This new service would offer accessible, high speed access up to 1 gigabit per second, 100 times faster than standard high speed Internet service. This would make it easier to manage and download materials as well as connect with friends, colleagues and family around the world.

Monroe County and the City of Rochester have applied and hope to be selected for this trial program. Read More
