John T. Auberger has served as Greece Town Supervisor since 1998. Holding a distinguished record of service to the community, he has worked in public office since 1987. Before being elected Town Supervisor, Auberger served for ten years with the Monroe County Legislature, spending his final two years as President of the Legislature.

As Chief Executive Officer responsible for the management of all municipal operations of a town with a population exceeding 96,000, Supervisor Auberger's priority continues to be his efforts to provide residents with the highest quality programs and services while maintaining and keeping property taxes stable.

As an elected official, John has always kept the interest and needs of constituents at the forefront. Some of his accomplishments as Supervisor include: sound financial management, with a focus on doing more with less, advocating for a proactive approach to the expansion of economic development in the community, improving communication with residents through "one stop shopping," the Town website, newsletter, comment cards, call tracking system, construction of the main Library, Community and Senior Center and Justice Court facility in an effort to eliminate costly leases, creation of the Traffic Enforcement Unit of the Greece Police Department to combat residential speeding, development and implementation of policies on quality of life issues within the community through Code Complaince efforts, emphasis on maintaining our infrastructure, ensuring the health and safety of our residents through an emphasis on core services of Public Safety and Public Works.

John is active in numerous community organizations. He is on the Monroe County Supervisor's Association, Monroe County Council of Governments, member of the Board of the Northwest YMCA, member of the Latino Alliance organization, Lifespan Board Member, member of St. Lawrence Church, member of the Knights of Columbus, and recipient of countless awards and recognition from various community organizations.

First Ward Councilman Michael Barry, Jr. has a long history of public service. He has worked at the Rochester-Monroe County Youth Bureau for nearly four years and currently serves as its Executive Director.

Councilman Barry also has served as Clerk of the Monroe County Legislature and was a Greece Town Councilman from 2006-2009. He is a former high school English teacher and varsity basketball coach, and serves as a prayer minister at his church. He attended Niagara University where he received his Bachelors and Masters degrees. 

Mike and his wife Kate live in Greece with their children Liam and Emily. 


 

Brett Granville

A longtime Greece resident, Brett received his Bachelor’s degree from St. Bonaventure University. He also holds a Law degree from the Notre Dame Law School.

With nearly 20 years of experience as an attorney, Brett currently serves as Deputy Monroe County Attorney, General Legal Services where he is responsible for providing legal advice and analysis to the County Executive, County Legislature, and all county departments.

He previously worked as Monroe County Assistant District Attorney and as an Adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice. Brett is a member of the Flower City Down Syndrome Network and Our Mother of Sorrows Church.

Brett and his wife Kate Schiano-Granville live on Picturesque Drive with their four children, Adam, Daniel, Jacob, and Jennifer.

Andrew is a lifelong Greece resident and graduate of Greece Athena High School. He received a Bachelor’s Degree from St. John Fisher College. 

Andrew currently serves as Constituent Services Coordinator for New York State Senator Joe Robach. He previously served as a Contract Administrator at Coordinated Care Services, Inc., as well as Budget Technician and Recreation Assistant at the Town of Greece.

Andrew has volunteered for the Pirate Toy Fund, at the Northwest YMCA, and for Spruce Up Greece.

Andrew currently lives on Mountain Ash Drive. 

 


Kirk Morris

Kirk was born and raised in the Town of Greece and is a graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School. He received a Bachelor’s Degree from St. John Fisher College. 

Kirk is currently Deputy County Clerk for Monroe County Clerk Cheryl Dinolfo. He previously served as Chief of Staff for New York State Senator Joe Robach and as Deputy Director of Public Information for the New York State Workers Compensation Board.

Kirk is a member of the Greece Rotary, serves on the Board of Directors for the Greece Chamber of Commerce, former Chairman of the Greece Zoning Board of Appeals, former member of the Greece Youth Board, and a volunteer coach for Greece Little League and Greece Boys Soccer.

Kirk and his wife Wendy live on Thorn Apple Lane with their two children, Lauren and Joel.
