Supervisor Bill Reilich would like to invite all to attend the Town of Greece Old Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration. This annual event takes place on July 4th and is free and open to the public. The 5K Freedom Run will kick off the day’s festivities and lead into a day filled with family friendly activities, including a Super Hero Sprint for kids, food trucks, children’s activities, musical performances, and concluding with a fireworks spectacle. ADA compliant buses will be available at Greece Athena High School to transport people to the festivities, as there is no parking at the Greece Town Hall complex. Shuttles will begin departing at 4:30PM and will run continuously throughout the evening until 11:30PM.  The full schedule can be found below:

Tentative Schedule of Events – As of 6/18/18

7:00 AM   – 5K Freedom Run Registration
(Registration forms can be found on the Town of Greece website under the “Special Events” tab, on the Run Sign Up website at https://runsignup.com/Race/NY/Rochester/Greece5KFreedomRun., or in hard copy form on the second floor of Greece Town Hall)

7:30 AM   -- 5K Race Begins

(All race participants must move their vehicles off the Greece Town Hall Campus by 10am)

9:00 AM – Super Hero Sprint for Kids

(All race participants must move their vehicles off the Greece Town Hall Campus by 10am)

5:00 PM – 8:00 PM – Children’s Activities

6:00-7:30 PM – Opening Act Josie Waverly

8:00 PM – Main Act Orleans

9:45 PM – Fire Works Display

(Supervisor Reilich would like to remind all viewing the fireworks display to please bring lawn chairs or blankets)
