Public Safety Expo at the Mall at Greece Ridge

The Town of Greece, the Greece Police Department and the Mall at Greece Ridge will be hosting a Public Safety Expo on Saturday, October 6 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Public Safety display booths will be set up from the new Children’s Play Area to the Burlington Court. This event was created and planned by Police Chief Todd Baxter’s Interactive Committee, a group of proactive residents and businesspeople from the Greece community.

Over fifteen public safety organizations from Monroe County will be represented including the Greece Police Department, multiple fire departments from the Greece area, Crime Stoppers, the Monroe County Sheriff’s SCUBA Team and many more. There will also be demonstrations by the Greece Police Department and the Rochester Police Department SWAT Team among others. Demonstrations begin at 11:00 a.m. and will take place at Center Court near JC Penney. Residents are also asked to bring non-perishable food items as there will be collection boxes throughout the Public Safety Expo for the Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf.

“This community-oriented event will help educate residents about all different measures our public safety organizations take on a daily basis to keep our community safe and secure,” said Supervisor John Auberger.
