Greece Residents Celebrate Halloween While Helping Local Food Shelves

Supervisor John Auberger and the members of the Greece Town Board are proud to announce that the Greece Community & Senior Center collected 1,515 lbs of nonperishable food as part of its Make a Difference Day efforts.

Nonperishable food was generously donated by attendees of Friday night’s Family Halloween Party and collected throughout the day Saturday. After volunteers sorted through the 1,515 lbs of food, it was delivered to Mission Share Outreach Center, the Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf and the Hilton Parma Emergency Food Shelf.

“On behalf of the Greece Town Board, I’d like to thank all our Greece Residents who generously gave to this food drive and commend the staff and volunteers at the Greece Community & Senior Center for coordinating this effort,” said Auberger.
