Supervisor Bill Reilich Announces Plans for a 4th of July Celebration
Town of Greece Supervisor, Bill Reilich (R,C,I – Greece) today announced plans for an Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration in the Town of Greece.
The day will start out with a 5K “Freedom Run” where participants will be running right down Long Pond Road to Town Hall. Proceeds will be split between Senior Transportation and other charities in Greece.
Late in the afternoon the parking lot at Town Hall will be full of food vendors and activities for children and families alike.
At 8:00 pm the band “Orleans” will be performing and with hits like “Still the One” and Dance With Me”, it’s sure to be a crowd pleaser.
And at dusk, the pinnacle event of the day will be a fantastic fireworks show.
“I am so pleased to be able to bring 4th of July festivities to the Town of Greece.
Although Greece is a large town, we always strive to keep that small town feel in all we do. This celebration is certainly one that can be enjoyed by young and old alike. I’d like to personally invite everyone to join us in celebrating Independence Day as a community, right at Town Hall."
