Supervisor Bill Reilich and the Greece Town Board continue their efforts to address not only the damage that’s been occurring to water front homes, but also the ongoing threats of rising waters. They have again reached out to President Trump.
Supervisor Reilich and the Greece Town Board, on behalf of our residents and all those who are experiencing damages due to flood waters, are requesting an official inquiry. This inquiry will include the steps leading up to the decision of the IJC to adopt Plan 2014 and its lack of timely response as conditions continue to result in rising waters and damages to our homeowners and local businesses.
“I cannot and will not sit idly while these folks, our neighbors, watch their homes and properties continue to suffer damage and loss as a result of the rising floodwaters. Someone must be held accountable. I am hoping this action ensures that a full investigation is launched”. said Supervisor Reilich. “We cannot have our lake and pond front residents expect to suffer year after year with rising waters and the threat of continued damage”.
