Supervisor Bill Reilich and the Community and Senior Center Host Senior Picnic

Greece Town Supervisor Bill Reilich and the Greece Community and Senior Center today hosted the Town of Greece Senior Picnic. The event, which was sponsored by the American Legion Greece Post 468, was held under the Pavilion and included live music and a buffet lunch.

During introductions, Supervisor Reilich and Monroe County Sheriff Patrick O’Flynn had an exciting announcement for the seniors. They announced that they will be partnering to host a free Senior Citizen Police Academy. This academy will offer senior citizens a unique look into the Sheriff’s office and operations. Monroe County Sheriff Patrick O’Flynn, District Attorney Sandra Doorley, the Public Defender’s Office, and Family Court Judges will be participating in this informative training opportunity. As part of the program, attendees will have the opportunity to tour the Hall of Justice, the Public Safety Training Facility, and the Emergency Communications Department. Times: Bus leaves Greece Community and Senior Center at 8:30am sharp

Cost: Free
