Supervisor Bill Reilich Thanks Community for Donations made to the Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf

Greece Town Supervisor Bill Reilich extends his gratitude and appreciation to the community for the donations made to the Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf this holiday season. Greece Town Hall set up 2 donation bins earlier this month – one located in the Community and Senior Center and the other located in the Atrium of Greece Town Hall – where residents were encouraged to drop off food items to be donated to the Greece Food Shelf. Over the course of 3 weeks, our great community donated 165 pounds of food!

The Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf, Inc. is an organization that helps provide food to families in need living in the Greece and Charlotte areas. Their purpose is to acquire, warehouse and distribute donated and purchased food and household products to benefit the families in need. Last year they served more than 5,400 people. Please call 585-277-5370 if you are interested in more information.

“I am incredibly thankful to represent our great Town where I see residents come together time and again to help their neighbors in need” said Supervisor Reilich. “Seeing the outpouring of community support makes incredibly proud. On behalf of the Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf and all those who will benefit from your donations, thank you”.
