Yesterday, Supervisor Reilich was pleased to host a good old fashioned lighting of the Town’s holiday tree. This annual event, which took place just outside the back entrance of Greece Town Hall by the decorated pine tree, boasted a great crowd and lots of Christmas spirit.
Residents joined together with their neighbors to sing songs and revel in holiday cheer. A special visit by Santa was complimented by popcorn and hot cocoa for all in attendance. On hand to assist Supervisor Reilich with the ceremony were Greece Town Officials Brett Granville, Josh Jensen, Bill Murphy, and Vince Campbell. Assemblyman Peter Lawrence and Senator Joe Robach were also present. Following the tree lighting ceremony, residents had an opportunity to join our friends at the Community and Senior Center for their annual Family Christmas Party. The festivities included arts and crafts, music by the Greece Concert Band, light refreshments, and an opportunity to visit Santa Claus in the Pavilion!
