Information for Paying Property Taxes on Friday, December 29, 2017

For anyone planning on paying their property taxes at Greece Town Hall on Friday, December 29th, 2017, please note the following:

Greece Town Hall will be open regular business hours (9:00am – 5:00pm).

Greece Receiver of Taxes elect Andrew Conlon will be in Greece Town Hall to assist residents with processing their property taxes. He will be joined by former Greece Receiver of Taxes Kathleen Taylor, along with additional staff to ensure residents receive prompt and efficient assistance.

Please note that Property Taxes can be paid at the Town of Greece office via cash, check, or money order. Residents choosing to make their payments at Greece Town Hall should enter our Service Mall entrance, take a number at the Tax Counter, and then proceed to our “Marriage Office” area of the counter where we will have added staff to print out your tax bills. Once you have received the copy of your bill, we ask that you ready your check, money order, or cash payments and wait until your number is called. This is being done to streamline our service to you. Residents choosing to pay via credit card payments can ONLY do so online at www.monroecounty.gov. Please note that payments made through the Monroe County website will be subject to a 3% credit card payment fee. Please consult your tax professional or accountant to discuss payment options prior to taking any action.

Your property tax bill will be available to print online the morning of Friday, December 29th. I strongly encourage you to print your tax bill prior to coming to Greece Town Hall, which will help us in assisting you more quickly. If you are unable to print your tax bill at home, we will have staff available on site to print them for you.
