Greece Town Supervisor Bill Reilich was joined by Councilmembers Bill Murphy and Josh Jensen and Cornerstone Pointe owner Roger Brandt and his team members for a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of Cornerstone Pointe Apartments in Greece. The apartments are located at 1230 Long Pond Road, adjacent to Long Pond Senior Housing.
The 66-unit complex offers housing to seniors ages 62+. There is a mixture of 59 1-bedroom units and 7 2-bedroom units. 33 units will be set aside for occupancy by MRT (Medicaid Redesign Team) Frail Elderly Households enrolled in Medicaid, and Cornerstone will contact Rochester Regional Health to refer frail elderly residents to the Project. Rochester Regional Health and its affiliates will work with the residents to offer assessment and care management services to ensure that identified services and support needs are met so that residents may enjoy independent residency. Please visit Cornerstone Pointe’s website for more information: www.rcgltd.net.
“Cornerstone has created or preserved more than 1400 units of affordable housing in Upstate New York since its formation in 1990” said Supervisor Reilich. “Today, I am happy to join owner Roger Brandt as we welcome Cornerstone Pointe Apartments to the Town of Greece. Thank you for your service to our senior population”.
