Supervisor Bill Reilich and the Greece Town Board present Proclamation Celebrating Van Putte Gardens 70 Year Anniversary

Tuesday evening, Greece Town Supervisor Bill Reilich was joined by Town Board Members Mike Barry, Bill Murphy, Josh Jensen, and Diana Christodaro for a proclamation ceremony celebrating the 70th year anniversary of Van Putte Gardens.

Van Putte Gardens, located at 136 North Avenue, is a well-known business in the area. They were established as a seed company in 1948 and are now in their third generation of business. This family-owned business is run by Van Putte family members Kyle and Holly, alongside their parents Sue and Carl.

Van Putte Gardens has long been serving the local area. A recent way they have impacted the Greece community is when Sue Van Putte reached out to Supervisor Reilich and offered to landscape the area outside of the Town of Greece Community and Senior Center. She designed and planted seven large concrete planters and supplied beautiful flowers for these planters.

“The Town of Greece is proud to have long standing businesses that are dedicated to serving the Greece community” said Supervisor Bill Reilich. “Congratulations on celebrating 70 years of business and thank you for the contributions you make to our town!”
