Supervisor Bill Reilich, along with Town of Greece Receiver of Taxes Andrew Conlon and the Greece Town Board, yesterday hosted another free Shredding Event for residents. A Shredding Event was held earlier this year in May and was such a huge success that Supervisor Reilich decided to organize another event for residents.
The Shredding Event was held at the Greece Town Hall Campus. Services were provided by Shred-Text, which is a confidential document shredding company that provides on-site shredding. Shred-Text is also an environmentally-friendly company, as they bring 100% of the shredded paper to an authorized recycler. “The first Town of Greece Shredding Event held this year was a wild success and we were happy to offer another event for our residents” said Supervisor Reilich. “Hundreds turned out for this event where they were able to watch their confidential documents be shredded on site. It can be very expensive to have a shredding service come to a resident home, so I was glad to be able to provide this service for our residents free of charge”.
