Thursday evening, Councilwoman Diana Christodaro spoke with a group of girl scouts on the topic of local government. The Junior Girl Scout Troop and their leaders wanted to meet with Diana to talk about local government as part of the process to earn their Inside Government Badge.
“I was so excited to meet with the Junior Girl Scout Troop and their leaders last Thursday evening!” said Councilwoman Diana Christodaro. “The girls asked me a bunch of interesting questions about how local government works and what kind of work I do as a Councilwoman. I was able to talk with them about how I became a Councilwoman, what being a Councilwoman entails, and how decisions are made by the Greece Town Board. I hope the presentation and discussion left the girls with a more comprehensive understanding of local government. I was happy to show the girls that elected officials here in the Town of Greece are accessible, involved in the community, and happy to interact with our wonderful residents – no matter the age!”
