Supervisor Bill Reilich, along with Town of Greece Receiver of Taxes Andrew Conlon and the Greece Town Board, hosted a free Shredding Event for residents today. This bi-annual event takes place in both the Spring and Fall.
The Shredding Event was held at the Greece Town Hall Campus. Services were provided by Shred-Text, which is a confidential document shredding company that provides on-site shredding services. Shred-Text is also an environmentally-friendly company, as they bring 100% of the shredded paper to an authorized recycler. For more information about the company, please call 247-5250 or visit their website at www.shredtext.com.
“The Greece Town Board Members, Receiver of Taxes Andrew Conlon, and I were happy to offer another free shredding event to residents this Spring” said Supervisor Reilich. “Hundreds turned out for this event where they were able to watch their confidential documents be shredded on site. It can be very expensive to have a shredding service come to a resident home, so I was glad to be able to provide this service for our residents free of charge. We will be scheduling another free shredding event for Greece residents this Fall – stay tuned for details! This will be our late afternoon/evening event”.
