Supervisor Bill Reilich, the Greece Town Board, and the Library Board Hold Ribbon Cutting Unveiling Ceremony for New Teen Space Furniture

Supervisor Bill Reilich was joined by Greece Town Board members Bill Murphy, Josh Jensen, and Mike Barry, Library Board members Charles DeCamilla, Kevin Nasca, Jamie Anthony, and Tony Wechsler, Teen Advisory Board Facilitators Claire Talbot and Karen Dessinger, and several members of the Teen Advisory Board for a ribbon cutting unveiling ceremony for the new Teen Space furniture at the Greece Public Library Main Branch.

The previous furniture in the Teen Space was very difficult to clean. The Teen Space now includes new tables, stools, and booth space – the new seats on the café chairs are vinyl and all of the new furniture surfaces are easily cleanable. Also included is a new Tween book collection that features both fiction and graphic novels. The space will soon have a Nintendo Switch Gaming Systems.

“The Teen Space is a very popular area for our young residents” said Supervisor Reilich. “I would like to thank the library’s Teen Advisory Board and everyone involved in renovating and expanding this space for our teen and tween population!”
