During Tuesday evening’s meeting of the Greece Town Board, Supervisor Reilich and Greece Town Board members Mike Barry, Bill Murphy, Josh Jensen, and Diana Christodaro recognized and presented proclamations to a special member of our community.
Scott Parr received a proclamation for recently setting a running record for the War Hammer 100-Mile Endurance Run in Kentucky last month. He finished the run in 23 hours, 58.23 seconds, which is more than 4 hours ahead of the second-place finisher. His next goal is to complete the Twisted Branch 100K through the Fingers Lakes, then to complete the Wild Florida 120-Mile Run, and ultimately to participate in the 2020 Endurance Run, which traverses through the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California.
“Congratulations to Scott on his amazing running achievement and best of luck to him with his future endeavors!” said Supervisor Reilich.
