In a constant effort to promote better communication between residents and the International Joint Commission (IJC), Supervisor Reilich would like to encourage waterfront residents to share details of flood damage experienced in 2019 through a survey prepared by the IJC’s Great Lakes Adaptive Management Committee (GLAM).
The survey was developed in coordination with the Lake Ontario-St. Lawrence River Control Board, to which Supervisor Reilich was recently appointed. The IJC and the Control Board will use survey results to improve models that are used to assess potential flood damage under a range of water level conditions. The survey can be completed at the link below:

“When I was appointed to the International Joint Commission Board this summer, one of my top priorities was to help support better communication channels between waterfront residents and the the Lake Ontario-Saint Lawrence River Board” said Supervisor Reilich. “I would like to encourage all waterfront residents to complete the survey, as it will assist in getting information to stakeholders more quickly”.
