Supervisor Bill Reilich, along with Town of Greece Receiver of Taxes Andrew Conlon and Greece Town Council Members Mike Barry, Bill Murphy, Josh Jensen, and Diana Christodaro hosted a free Shredding Event for resident’s Wednesday afternoon.
The Shredding Event was held at the Greece Town Hall Campus. Services were provided by Shred-Text, which is a confidential document shredding company that provides on-site shredding services. Shred-Text is also an environmentally-friendly company, as they bring 100% of the shredded paper to an authorized recycler. “Unfortunately we had to cancel our Spring Shredding Event that was scheduled for the evening because of the Pandemic. However, the Greece Town Council Members, Receiver of Taxes Andrew Conlon, and I were happy to still host our Free Fall Shredding Event for Greece residents this year” said Supervisor Reilich. “Those who attended were able to watch their confidential documents be shredded on site. It can be very expensive to have a shredding service come to a resident home, so I was glad to be able to provide this service for our residents free of charge”.
