Supervisor Bill Reilich and the Greece Town Council Members Hold Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Tractor Supply Company

Saturday morning, Supervisor Bill Reilich was joined by Greece Town Council Members Diana Christodaro, Bill Murphy, and Josh Jensen for a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the grand opening of the highly-anticipated Tractor Supply Company, located at 3230 Latta Road in the Town of Greece.

Joining for the ribbon cutting ceremony were Town of Greece Planning and Economic Development Director Scott Copey, Tractor Supply Company District Manager Katie Porta, Store Manager Jodi Rae Baird, and Assistant Store Manager Jeana Elmer.

The Tractor Supply Company in Greece is only the 3rd Tractor Supply Company in all of Monroe County. Tractor Supply provides goods and services such as hardware, seasonal items, home gardens, and power equipment. To view a more expansive list of their goods and services, visit their website at

The Town of Greece worked closely with Tractor Supply Company and DMK Development to tailor the building’s architecture and site design to meet the town’s expectations for a high-quality commercial development. While working with the Tractor Supply Company development and architectural teams, the Town of Greece asked Tractor Supply Company to adjust their architectural mold to design a building that fit well with the community of surrounding buildings, such as Canandaigua National Bank, Aldi, and Tompkins Bank of Castile.

“The Town of Greece is proud to be home to the third Tractor Supply Company in all of Monroe County!” said Supervisor Reilich. “The location of this store is a logical addition to the Latta/Long Pond commercial center. When you drive by Tractor Supply Company in Greece, you will notice that the building layout and exterior design match the same brick and color of buildings in the surrounding Latta/Long Pond business corridor. So today what you will see on the exterior of Tractor Supply is that they designed their building in Greece at this location so that the Latta/Long Pond corner would continue in the tradition with quality architectural material that is consistent with the character of the area. I would like to congratulate the member of the Tractor Supply Company team on the grand opening of their new location in the Town of Greece!”
