Supervisor Reilich – Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration is On!

Supervisor Bill Reilich is thrilled to bring back the beloved Town of Greece Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration this year! Last year, due to restrictions surrounding the Pandemic, Supervisor Reilich had to make the difficult decision to cancel this popular community event. Supervisor Reilich is excited to bring back all the family friendly activities this year!

The 5K Freedom Run will kick off the day’s festivities and lead into a day filled with family friendly activities including the Super Hero Sprint for kids, food trucks, musical performances, and a fireworks spectacle! The full schedule can be found below:

Tentative Schedule of Events – As of 6/7/21

7:00 AM   – 5K Freedom Run Registration

Registration forms can be found on the Town of Greece website under the “Special Events” section: https://greeceny.gov/special-events. Registration forms are also available on the Run Sign Up website: https://runsignup.com/Race/NY/Rochester/Greece5KFreedomRun .

7:30 AM   — 5K Race Begins

A t-shirt and medal will be given to every participant.

9:00 AM – Super Hero Sprint

Register online here: https://bit.ly/21superherosprint . Please arrive by 8:45 for stretches and warmups!

5:30 PM — Food Trucks Open

Food truck participants will be revealed soon.

6:00 PM – Bounce Houses and Activities for Kids

6:00 PM – Nik and Nice Guys will perform

8:00 PM – Our featured performer “Gary Lewis and the Playboys” will take the stage

9:45 PM (approximately) – Fire Works Display

“As restriction continue loosening, my team and I are working around the clock to bring back beloved Town of Greece events to our residents” said Supervisor Reilich. “The Town of Greece Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration is our most popular event and draws thousands of people each year, so I am extra excited to bring back this particular event this summer!
