We are saddened by the news of the death of General Colin Powell. He truly lived out the American Dream. The son of immigrants, born in New York City, raised in Harlem and the South Bronx, and a graduate of the City College of New York, he rose to the highest ranks of the United States military and to advise four presidents. As a mark of respect for General Powell, the flags on the Greece Town Hall Campus will be flown at half-staff until sunset on October 22, 2021. Our country lays to rest a great man and leader. Our thoughts and prayers are with General Powell’s friends and family.
