Supervisor Bill Reilich is ordering all flags on Greece Town Hall properties to be lowered to Half Staff starting tomorrow morning to honor the passing of hometown hero and Medal of Honor Recipient Gary Beikirch.
Gary Beikirch’s entire life was dedicated to service. He was a devoted husband, father and a role model in our community.
As a town we have proudly flown the Medal of Honor Flag as Greece is his hometown. He is the namesake of our Veteran’s Memorial Wall and the grace he has shared with everyone who has crossed his path will not be forgotten.
Our deepest sympathies go out to his family as our entire community mourns his passing.
