Supervisor Bill Reilich and the Greece Town Board Announce Naser Zenelovic as Deputy Chief of Police

Last month, Supervisor Reilich and the Greece Town Board announced that Mike Wood would be serving as Chief of Police for the Greece Police Department.  At its organizational meeting last evening, current Rochester Police Department Captain Naser Zenelovic was unanimously voted to fill the rank of Deputy Chief for the Greece Police Department.

This is another important step to moving forward with our command staff at the Department.

Zenelovic is currently serving as Police Captain – Patrol Section Investigations, a position he has held since October 2019.  Previously he served as Police Captain – Staff Duty Officer, Lieutenant – Central Investigations Section – Major Crimes and also as the Lieutenant – Special Operations Section – Tactical Unit.  In total, he has over twenty-seven years of law enforcement experience and his career has been dedicated to the core mission of policing in the spirit of service.

“We are eager to bring our new Chief, Mike Wood and Deputy Chief Zenelovic on board” Reilich said. “They both are men of impeccable character and have a desire to bring an even wider range of knowledge to what I believe is the best department anywhere around”.

His official start date with the Greece Police Department will be January 17th
