Supervisor Bill Reilich Reveals Town of Greece Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration Schedule of Events

Supervisor Bill Reilich is thrilled to once again bring back the beloved Town of Greece Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration this year!

The 5K Freedom Run will kick off the day’s festivities and lead into a day filled with family friendly activities including the Fun Run for kids, food trucks, musical performances, and a fireworks spectacle! The full schedule can be found below:

Tentative Schedule of Events – As of 6/6/22

6:30 AM   – 5K Freedom Run Registration

Registration forms can be found on the Town of Greece website under the “Special Events” section: https://greeceny.gov/special-events. Registration forms are also available on the Run Sign Up website: https://runsignup.com/Race/NY/Rochester/Greece5KFreedomRun .

7:00 AM   — 5K Race Begins

A t-shirt and medal will be given to every participant.

8:15 AM – Kids Fun Run

Please arrive by 8:00 for stretches and warmups!

4:30 PM — Food Trucks Open and Family Activities Begin

Food truck participants will be revealed soon.

5:15 PM – Nik and the Nice Guys perform

8:00 PM – Our featured performer “Three Dog Night” will take the stage

9:45 PM (approximately) – Fire Works Display

ADA compliant buses will be available at Greece Athena High School to transport people to the festivities, as there is no parking at the Greece Town Hall complex. Shuttles will begin departing at 4:15PM and will run continuously throughout the evening until 11:30PM.

“I am excited to once again bring back this beloved community event” said Supervisor Reilich. “As we celebrate our Town’s Bicentennial Anniversary this year, I am thrilled to bring in a national act along with the other events and activities we have planned this day and throughout the year. Join us this 4th of July for a concert featuring Three Dog Night!”
