Yesterday morning was a very special morning in the Town of Greece. Greece Town Supervisor Bill Reilich was joined by the Greece Parks and Recreation Department, MVP Healthcare, and the National Fitness Campaign in officially cutting the ribbon in celebration of the first Fitness Court in the Town of Greece. Joining Supervisor Reilich from the Town for the ribbon cutting ceremony were Deputy Supervisor Michelle Marini, Greece Town Council Members Bill Murphy and Mike Bloomer, Parks and Recreation Director Peter O’Brien, and Assistant Director Lisa Letta.

“I look forward to offering our residents accessibility to an outdoor fitness area where they can improve their health and wellness without a cost barrier” said Supervisor Bill Reilich. “The location of the Greece Outdoor Fitness Court at Basil Marella Park is a nice complement to the existing trails, athletic fields and accessible playground this facility already has” Reilich concluded.
