Rehome a Pet
Greece Self-Rehoming Program
The Town’s self-rehoming program is a compassionate, direct-to-adopter program that helps pet guardians rehome their animals without the stress of entering a shelter. With just a few simple steps, pets can connect with loving new families while staying safe and comfortable in their current homes.
This free service gives pets the best of both worlds: current guardians can choose the right fit for their animals, and adopters can learn about each pet’s personality and needs directly from the people who know them best. It’s a win-win for pets and families alike!
At Greece Animal Services, we understand that lifelong guardianship is the goal—but we also know that life circumstances can change. When rehoming becomes necessary, our priority is compassion, respect, and support for both people and pets. The self-rehoming program reflects our commitment to creating positive outcomes, preventing unnecessary institutionalization, reducing shelter overcrowding, and helping every animal find the loving home they deserve.
If you would like Greece Animal Services to support your rehoming efforts by posting your pet on this page, please email us with one of more high-quality photos and the following information: Species, Pet’s Name, Breed/Type, Sex, Color(s), Age, Weight, Microchipped? (Y/N), your address, and a compelling description of your pet’s personality.
