Public Works

The Department of Public Works is administered by the Commissioner of Public Works, Cory Gurnett. The Commissioner is appointed for a term of two years. Commissioner Gurnett oversees all divisions of public works. This includes administration, engineering, highway, equipment maintenance, traffic control, road repairs and improvements, bridges, machinery, snow removal, street lighting, sidewalks, sanitary sewers, refuse and composting, drainage and right-of-way shade trees.
