Supervisor Bill Reilich and Greece Receiver of Taxes Andrew Conlon are announcing that School District taxes will be accepted in person beginning Tuesday, September 1st from 9:00am until 5:00pm Monday through Friday. However, to ensure that proper social distancing requirements are met and to avoid potential large crowds in the service mall, they want to share additional means to make your tax payments.

The traditional 3% fee for using a credit card is being waived for online payments for the 2020 school district taxes. Those residents wishing to pay by credit card can log into Monroe County’s website, select from Top Line Services and then select view/pay taxes online. Residents may also pay their taxes via the Drop Box located outside the Service Mall area of Greece Town Hall. The lock box provides another secure method of paying their seasonal taxes. Please note: the only form of payment that will be accepted in the lock box is by check. Absolutely NO CASH will be accepted in the Drop Box. All Drop Box payments received will be processed on the previous day’s business date. Please be certain to include your payment stub with your check in order to receive your receipt. Additionally, residents are also able to mail tax payments directly to the following: Receiver of Taxes, One Vince Tofany Blvd., Rochester, NY 14612.

Of note, the Town of Greece only provides the service of tax collection on behalf of our three school districts. If you have any questions, concerns or require additional information regarding your school district taxes, please call you respective district directly.
