The past several months have been packed with activities, events, services, and community projects as our community celebrates the Town of Greece’s 200th Year Anniversary. With the warmer temperatures on the way we have many more events planned, and I guess you could say, well, we are just getting started. March 22nd of this year marked the two-hundred-year anniversary of the Town of Greece and we have been announcing many milestone events and celebrations ever since.
This July 4th the town of Greece is poised to host our biggest July 4th event yet as we come together to jointly celebrate our 200th birthday as well.
Our crowds have grown steadily each and every year since we brought this celebration to town in 2014. We have attendance numbers that top out (on campus only) at over 10,000 people – families that join together with their neighbors to celebrate all that makes this Country so great.
And now for the big announcement…
We are thrilled to announce that Three Dog Night will be performing on the main stage.
Three Dog Night is a renowned American Rock Band formed in 1967. Now in their 5th decade, they claim some of the most astonishing statistics in popular music. They scored a succession of 21 hit singles, including eleven Top Ten, and twelve consecutive gold albums from 1969-1975.
The Three Dog Night concert is the frosting on top of the cake of a day already filled with fun and family-friendly activities. The Town of Greece Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration will also feature a Freedom Run 5k, Kids Fun Run, games, food trucks and much more to come! Keep tuned for details and plan to join us for this combined celebration culminating in a grand Fireworks Display, bigger and bolder than ever before.
