Supervisor Bill Reilich would like to invite all to attend the Annual Town of Greece Old Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration on Thursday, July 4th, 2019. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public. The 5K Freedom Run will kick off the day’s festivities and lead into a day filled with activities, including a Super Hero Sprint for kids, food trucks, children’s activities, musical performances, and concluding with a fireworks spectacle. ADA compliant buses will be available at Greece Athena High School to transport people to the festivities, as there is no parking at the Greece Town Hall Campus. Shuttles will begin departing at 4:30PM and will run continuously throughout the evening until 11:30PM.  The full schedule can be found below.

Schedule of Events:

7:00 AM   – 5K Freedom Run Registration

(Pre-register at Printable registration forms can be found on the Town of Greece website at Hard copy registration forms are available at Greece Town Hall).

7:30 AM -- 5K Race Begins

(All race participants must move their vehicles off the Greece Town Hall Campus by 10am)

9:00 AM – Super Hero Sprint for Kids

(All race participants must move their vehicles off the Greece Town Hall Campus by 10am)

4:30 PM – Food Trucks Open

(Current list of food trucks participating include J&S Fried Dough, Daves Fine Food, Robs Kabobs, Lugias Ice Cream, Snowie Mobile, Chefs Catering, Macarollin’, Goodes Restaurant, The Chuck Wagon, and The Meatball Truck)

5:00 PM – 8:00 PM – Children’s Activities

(Activities include inflatables, face painting, a rock wall, crafts, and yard games)

5:30-7:30 PM – First Act Ruby Shooz

(Concert held at the Greece Town Hall Pavilion)

8:00 PM – Second Act Nik & The Nice Guys  

(Concert held at the Greece Town Hall Pavilion)

Dusk – Fire Works Display

(Supervisor Reilich would like to remind all viewing the fireworks display to please bring lawn chairs or blankets)
